Over at Fat Possum records, there are quite a few characters. The Black Keys, with their blues-rock-stomp, is by far one of my favorites. I enjoy their older stuff most, specifically Rubber Factory, but it's all bluesy and soulful and surprisingly dense for a two-man band. The drums hit hard, the guitars are fuzzed, and Dan Auerbach's voice is culled from the entire blues feeling, weary and real and more alive than most.
